1430 x 1. Our new, high quality Grille for the XK120 Radiator, produced from OUR OWN EXCLUSIVE TOOLING. We have cast the surround to give consistency and the new brass vanes have been pressed and each is pre-polished for a perfect shine down each side, before final assembly and plate (the give-away on a properly built grille). This grille is the glowing centre-piece of all of the XK120 models, so the vanes should look good from every angle. All of our grilles are hand finished in beautiful 'Triple Chrome' Plate by our specialist Chrome Plater ( for explanation SEE : chrome plating article ). Original Ref. Number BD2877.

NOTE :  ALWAYS fit grilles into the bonnet rebate BEFORE PAINTING, as old aluminium bonnets distort and often need repairs to stress cracks etc and then further working to due to the flexible body's rebuild. You will note on an original bonnet that the large factory mounting lug holes were obviously hand filed out to fit the grille studs.

NEVER try to force a new grille into the bonnet recess or slam the bonnet hard, as the soldered in vanes may break away from the rim.

SPECIAL NOTE : There is also a lesser known Early XK120 grille variant, with a raised spine section on the vanes (see picture) which was interchangeable, SEE : 1431 but do please ring for availability as some products are getting difficult to make.
